BUDGET AND EVENT

On April 20th, 2019, The Lemon Tea Party Presents Playtuna, an interactive film showing that harkens back to the early days of film.

“The Museum of the Moving Image occupies one of the thirteen buildings that comprised the former Astoria Studio complex. Originally built by Famous Players-Lasky—known as Paramount after 1927. The studio was taken over in 1942 by the U.S. Army to produce training films for WWII soldiers and renamed the Signal Corps Photographic Center(Museum of the Moving Image website).”

The Lemon Tea Party’s event focuses on the reimagining of Signal Corps Photographic Center films. The event will showcase footage shot on the studio lot between 1942-1970. The footage will be transferred to film and the footage will then be painted on directly by a series of artist curated by Victor Moscoso. During the showing, Celestial Shore will play the soundtrack live.  The dialogue will be performed in person by Sketchfest.  (Lynn)

So in case of a serious weather disaster the event is will be postponed and to the visitors that already bought tickets, they will be refunded.    (DAVID)
